Kita patut bangga jadi orang Indonesia,,, ,ADIDAS aja bikin produk
spesial buat kita…

The folks at Overkill Shop sent over some information regarding
the latest release for adidas’ Materials of the World project. The
nation in focus this time is the archipelago nation of Indonesia.
The inspiration comes from Batik-Made, beautiful fabrics with
intricate details found on the island of Java. The ancient art of
dying the fabric through a series of procedures makes Batik-Made a
fabric of Javanese royalty and one of six high arts of Indonesia.
Now, you can enjoy it too in the forms of adidas OriginalsMetro
Attitude Hi, track jacket, and cap. The sneaker also comes in
women’s version. However, like Batik-Made, only a few can own
since there are only 1000 pairs available globally.

World's Thinnest Notebook-APPLE MacBook Air

During his Macworld Expo keynote address on Tuesday morning, Apple CEO Steve Jobs introduced the MacBook Air, a computer that the company billed as the world's thinnest notebook -- small enough to fit inside an interoffice mailing envelope. It's priced starting at $1,799 and will be available within two weeks.

Sporting a silvery finish, the MacBook Air features a 13.3-inch LED-backlit widescreen display that has a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. The backlighting saves power and provides "instant on" response from the moment you turn it on, according to Jobs. The device has a slightly wedge-shaped profile. It weighs about 3 pounds, and sports a thickness of 0.16-0.76 inches. It's 12.8 inches wide and 8.95 inches deep.

The MacBook Air also features a built-in iSight webcam and a full sized MacBook-style black keyboard. The keyboard is backlit, similar to MacBook Pros, and has an ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts brightness. The trackpad is also capable of recognizing multi-touch gestures, similar to using an iPhone or iPod touch. As a result, the MacBook Air's trackpad is disproportionately large, compared to the size of trackpads found on the MacBook or MacBook Pro.

The MacBook Air features a 1.8-inch hard disk drive with 80GB of storage capacity standard. A 64GB solid-state disk (SSD) drive is an option. The hard drive is a Parallel ATA (PATA) model that operates at 4200 RPM.

The laptop is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo chip running at 1.6GHz, with 1.8GHz available as an option. Jobs noted that Intel was willing to engineer a new version of the Core 2 Duo specifically to Apple's specifications -- it's 60 percent smaller than others. The chip operates with 4MB of on-chip shared L2 cache running at full processor speed, and uses an 800MHz frontside bus. 2GB of 667MH DDR2 SDRAM is also included.

Like the MacBook and the MacBook Pro, the MacBook Air features a slimmed down MagSafe connector for power. It comes with a 45 watt power adapter. A flip-down door on one side reveals USB 2.0, Micro-DVI (to connect an external display) and a headphone jack. The MacBook Air also includes 802.11n-based wireless networking support and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR.

Apple estimates that with wireless networking turned on, the MacBook Air can get about 5 hours of battery life.

No internal optical drive is included, but Apple will offer a $99 USB 2.0-based add-on SuperDrive for users who need it. For users that opt not to get the optical drive, Apple is offering a new software feature on this machine called Remote Disk; it enables you to "borrow" the optical drive of another Mac or PC on the same network as the MacBook Air, to use for installing software, for example.

Apple's frequently been in the crosshairs of environmental group Greenpeace in recent years. Jobs offered information about the environmental goals behind the MacBook Air -- it has a fully recyclable aluminum case, and is "the first" to have a mercury-free display with arsenic-free glass. All the circuit boards are BFR-free and PVC-free, and the retail packaging uses 56 percent less material than the MacBook packaging.

The Negative Effects of Internet

I have some opinion about the negative impacts of internet,besides that Internet also has so many Positive impacts for human life. I will present my opinion about internet:
Internet has been plays an important part of human life, but it gives so many bad effects for the users.

Firstly, there are too many porn sites in the internet. From year to year, the number of porn sites had increased. In fact, about 60% of internet user were had opened porn sites once and 80% of male users had opened it too. Porn sites, which contain porn video, nude pictures, sex stories and many other things that related to sex, can destruct the human morale value. Many users under 17 years old often opened the porn contents in the internet. There is no regulation to ban the porn contents.

Secondly, people who use internet may become addicted. For example, the users usually browse the porn contents or online games that may make he or she want to play or open it more and more. Although internet provides much information, people may want to know more. Therefore, as the matter of fact, people sit in front of their computer everyday.

Thirdly, people feel comfort from getting information from the internet. They just sit and can get much information. People who are addicted to the internet may didn’t care about time. They can browse the internet for almost 6-12 hours a day. It makes them feeling lazy to do anything. Their whole life may just for internet.

Using internet will cost money for us. The internet service provider cost the users for internet service. In Indonesia, the cost of internet service is still expensive. So many times, we use the internet, more money we have to pay for the service. Even if we use the internet from internet café, we will cost for the service.

Fifthly, there is also internet crime like carding, spam, or swindle. Hacker may monitor the bank or shop-online sites. From these sites, hackers may know our credit card and PIN code. Hackers may use it to buy and the cost will gave to the bank or cardholder account.

Finally, internet also contains many viruses, spyware, and spam. It can make our computer ran abnormally. The number of computer viruses had increased and spread around the world.

The governments from all over the world have to make regulations, which may monitor or arranged the contents and activity in internet. The moral value must be plant earlier. Parents have to control their children’s activities on the internet.

PRAMUKA

Masi ingatkah anda semua dengan Praja Muda Karana(PRAMUKA)?
ya PRAMUKA adalah organisasi/kegiatan yang pernah kita lakukan dulu waktu jaman SD/SMP. Sebenarnya menurut saya sendiri Pramuka merupakan kegiatan yang positif sekali. PRAMUKA memberi kita pelajaran tentang bagaimana cara hidup mandiri, bertanggung jawab, disiplin, jujur, dan melatih kita sebagai pemimpin.
Tapi yang saya lihat sekarang ini, banyak orang yang menganggap bahwa PRAMUKA itu ketinggalan zaman. Coba deh lihat kebelakang, sejak PRAMUKA sudah tidak diwajibkan lagi mulai muncul kegiatan2 yang negatif bagi anak sekolah pada umumnya seperti kebiasaan untuk nongkrong, tawuran dan lain-lain.
Di PRAMUKA itu sendiri kita dilaitih untuk bekerjasama dan menjaga kekompakan, hal-hal tersebut tentunya sangat berguna bagi kita semua dalam menempuh hidup.
