The Negative Effects of Internet

I have some opinion about the negative impacts of internet,besides that Internet also has so many Positive impacts for human life. I will present my opinion about internet:
Internet has been plays an important part of human life, but it gives so many bad effects for the users.

Firstly, there are too many porn sites in the internet. From year to year, the number of porn sites had increased. In fact, about 60% of internet user were had opened porn sites once and 80% of male users had opened it too. Porn sites, which contain porn video, nude pictures, sex stories and many other things that related to sex, can destruct the human morale value. Many users under 17 years old often opened the porn contents in the internet. There is no regulation to ban the porn contents.

Secondly, people who use internet may become addicted. For example, the users usually browse the porn contents or online games that may make he or she want to play or open it more and more. Although internet provides much information, people may want to know more. Therefore, as the matter of fact, people sit in front of their computer everyday.

Thirdly, people feel comfort from getting information from the internet. They just sit and can get much information. People who are addicted to the internet may didn’t care about time. They can browse the internet for almost 6-12 hours a day. It makes them feeling lazy to do anything. Their whole life may just for internet.

Using internet will cost money for us. The internet service provider cost the users for internet service. In Indonesia, the cost of internet service is still expensive. So many times, we use the internet, more money we have to pay for the service. Even if we use the internet from internet café, we will cost for the service.

Fifthly, there is also internet crime like carding, spam, or swindle. Hacker may monitor the bank or shop-online sites. From these sites, hackers may know our credit card and PIN code. Hackers may use it to buy and the cost will gave to the bank or cardholder account.

Finally, internet also contains many viruses, spyware, and spam. It can make our computer ran abnormally. The number of computer viruses had increased and spread around the world.

The governments from all over the world have to make regulations, which may monitor or arranged the contents and activity in internet. The moral value must be plant earlier. Parents have to control their children’s activities on the internet.
