My car passed it's MOT last week - I was absolutely amazed, to say the very least. At the moment I have an old Corsa that is definitely falling to pieces (or at least I thought it was). If it lasts another year then I will be absolutely shocked. As a result, I've been looking around for ideas and prices of new cars. I think I may have just accidently stumbled upon one of the best consumer resources out there - the website of The Independent newspaper.
I have to say thatit is not the first place that I would have looked but I was searching for a Freelander. It is a car that I have always liked and is perfect for the area that I live in, which is quite rural, if a little out of my price range (the Land Rover Freelander 2 TD 4 HSE is £30,960), but a girl can dream.
Anyway, back to the review. The Independent reviewed the latest offering from Land Rover today so I was lucky to find it but I have found very few better reviews on the Internet so far. The Independent is known for its quality anyway, but the review covers everything from the price to the alternative cars available to the features... and even the driving experience.
We all know that checking out consumer and reporter reviews is better than relying on the biased information offered up by various companies about their own products, but if you do want a comprehensive overview of the Freelander, or anything else for that matter, the The Independent is a great place to start. Check out the review for yourself if you don't believe me. I guarantee that you'll be impressed... by the Frelander itself as well as the quality of the review! I definitely want one now!
